Why gas, not charcoal
Easy to use, easy to clean, safe on a total fire ban day
Our custom made stainless steel spits are gas operated and fully enclosed. Once the spit reaches cooking temperature, it only needs occasional checking. No cooking skills required.
Roasting trays under the spit catch all the juices and flavour. We recommend carving the meat into the juices to use every bit of it.

Before you hire a spit
Yes. We deliver the spit with a whole pig or lamb, set it up and start the cooking for you, then pick the spit up when you are done. DIY spit hire is available to suburbs within about 20km of Drummoyne. To check, search Google for "distance from Drummoyne to" followed by your suburb.
Our pigs range from 15kg to 40kg. A 15kg pig feeds about 25 people, a 25kg pig about 50, a 30kg pig about 60 and a 35kg pig about 70. You can order more than one: for 80 people we recommend two 20kg pigs.
Access to electricity. If your venue has none, a beach party for example, we can offer packages to suit, so contact us. We set up tables to prepare, present and serve the menu, and depending on the weather and space we may put up a marquee to cook under. If you have room, we can prepare the menu in your kitchen.
EFT, cheque or cash. A 25% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due on the day by cash or cheque, or 24 hours before by EFT. Cancellations need 7 days notice in writing; after that the deposit is not refunded.
